Alan B. Mayben, 68, passed on July 2nd. Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Suzanne (Halley) and Henry Mayben.
He had been employed by Corning Glass of Central Falls for many years. He was a minister at Trinity Tabernacle Church and unselfishly donated his time to the church and also ministered to those suffering from addictions.
He is survived by four children, Christyne Mayben, Thomas Mayben his wife Luz, Jennifer Roman her husband Angel and Timothy Mayben his wife Felicia, thirteen grandchildren nine great grandchildren, his siblings, Michael S. Mayben, Mark R. Mayben and his wife Pat, Kevin N. Mayben and his wife Tammy, Gary J. Mayben and his wife Kerry and Paul A. Mayben and his husband The Rev. James W. Kelliher and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Thomas Mayben and Cheryl Peirce.
A celebration of his life will be held, Monday, July 6th at 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Visitation will be held Monday 5:00pm until 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main, Providence, RI 02904.
